A Social Dance Unit for Schools
Social Dance involves dances such as Hip Hop, Disco, Swing and Salsa. This program thus aims to teach real-life skills to children. Each of the Elementary and Middle/High Schools Units are complete programs for social dancing instruction with five self-contained lessons. Each lessons teaches a different rhythm, and there are videos and booklets for sale to accompany the program.

Developed in Massachusetts under MAHPERD since 2004, the syllabus includes clearly defined objectives, assessments and rubrics compliant with National Frameworks. Each lesson uses a single rhythm, and all lessons comprise of warm up exercises, an easy dance routine, activities, extensions and teaching notes.
